Abstract: Recent years the new advanced manufacturing technologies(AMTs) are developed rapidly. In this paper, we analyzed contemporary integrated manufacturing system(CIMS) technology and the relation between CIMS and the other AMTs according to Chinese conditions. We proposed the system frame and some developing strategies of CIMS that will be beneficial to our manufacturing sector for development of AMT in China.

It is composed of the processes(include the alternative processes)description and the constraint relationships among these processes.The model can celstraditional man-made constrains among processes, and can bring the flexibility to be integrated with production and sceduling system, so it provide a good method for optimal production and sceduling for FMS.

Dynamic Scheduling Based on Virtual Operation Queue of Part for FMSs

Abstract: In this paper a concept of Virtual Operation Queue of part is proposed, a dynamic production scheduling algorithm is presented based on static batching of FMSs. The restricts of manufacturing resources, influence of part handling system and some emergency events (e.g. machine breakdown, rush order joining etc.), alternative operations, etc. are considered in the algorithm. The algorithm is easy to be realized, and can be applied to dynamic scheduling for most types of FMSs, which have one or more AGVs and have linear or loop layout.

 Abstract Insufficient quality data is the main characteristic of implementing the statistical quality control in flexible automation environment, aimed at this characteristic this paper introduce the group technology to statistical quality control for enhance the apriority of quality data and bring forward the group statistical quality control technology. The manufacturing base of GSQC was studied. Then the no-variance of p-fractile method was proposed, based on this math model of GSQC was studied. Based on the basic math method the process grouped mean-variant control chart was studed.

Abstract: Based on analysis of the flexible manufacturing workstations and the defined Standardized PetriNet(SPN), this paper develops a control mode, and constructs the mapping between SPN and comtrol model as well as between SPN and PLC/LD(Programmer Logic Contoller/Ladder Diagram) model of flexible manufacturing workstations. The methods presented in the paper solve the problem of automatically generation control codes for Mamufacturing Cells.

Using the thought of Object-Oriented Enterprise Process Model in PDM, the integrated model is divided into five integrated entities. The task model of every integrated entity is analysed and described in this paper.
